Unseen Tears: The Native American Boarding School Experience in Western New York

Genocide

Since the mid 1700s, we have found documents in the National Archives where the Leaders of the Untied States purport the best ways to "civilize" the "Indians." They wanted to take our kids from us and educate them to no longer speak our language or know our culture and history. They wanted to Christianize our children to take away our ancient religion and beliefs. They wanted to breed out of us our blood ties to our ancestors. That is called genocide and ethnic cleansing. This is only a portion of the systematic Genocide of the Native Americans. Yes, we have dozens of documents from the National Archives to document the savage treatment of the Chickamauga by the United States.

Below is a documentary of Native American Boarding Schools. This was the reality for almost all Native American Tribes. While this documentary is not specifically about the Chickamauga, it represents the reality of the savage, genocidal treatment of Native Americans by the Untied States

This is brutal to watch. We want to encourage every one of our Citizens over 14 years old to know about this so this never happens again. Mom and Dad, please sit down with your teenagers and help them understand what this means and why we STAND!
