The Chickamauga Are Descendants of The Mound Building Culture
While the Chickamauga are descendants of the Mound Building Culture, the Mound Building Culture is much larger than the Chickamauga. There are dozens of different people groups who are descendants of the Mound Building Culture in North America. While we are all interconnected by our History and Culture, each Region of the Mound Builders took on their own specialized Culture, Religion, and Government.
