I am Chief Jimmie W. Kersh of The Chickamauga Nation.  We would like to schedule a meeting with Secretary Halland at her soonest convenience.  Our Nation is Federally Recognized by the Congress of the United States by ratification of over 16 Treaties we cosigned, Annuities for over 50 years, lands held in trust for us in numerous states, retaining our government since before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and have never been Congressionally Terminated.

Our Nation is Federally Recognized by numerous Presidents including George Washington in his 4th Annual Address to Congress and Thomas Jefferson through a land trade with us from East of the Mississippi River to West of the Mississippi River in Arkansas.
