Request for Representative Bruce Westerman to Meet with The Chickamauga Nation
On Monday, September 20, the Washington DC office of Representative Bruce Westerman informed me that I would have to go to the website for the Representative and fill out a request for his scheduler. Below is the information from the request:
"I was told to contact Representative Westerman through this portal by the main office in DC.
Since our tribe is Federally Recognized but not on the Serviced Tribes Roll we are seeking to meet with the Representative and the Indigenous Peoples Sub Committee in We invoke the right to meet with Representative Westerman and the Indigenous Peoples Committee in accordance with Article 12 of the 1785 Hopewell Treaty as Co-Signatories.
