Chickamauga Made by A Citizen of The Chickamauga Nation

We Learned Something Important Today About the Arts and Crafts of Our People

First, because we are not on the Serviced Tribes Roll we are not legally allowed to put a tag on our Arts and Crafts saying “Native American Made”.

Great News.  We are legally allowed to place a tag on our products saying, “Chickamauga Made by A Citizen of The Chickamauga Nation” or "Chickamauga Made by (Your Name) a Citizen of The Chickamauga Nation".  Then place a price tag on the product that is two to three times what non-Chickamauga Nation Citizens will charge, we have earned the right because of all we have been through as a people.

All of our Arts and Crafts people can now place stickers and labels on their products and charge more for their products because it is made by The Chickamauga Nation.

This applies to all products that are historically and culturally relevant to our people as well as modern works of our people. Remember, if you would like to use the Ancient Axe of Authority, you need to send a letter or e-mail of request along with a mock up of the item to the Creator of the Ancient Axe, Dr. Michelle Spruell at ChickamaugaNation@ChickamaugaNation.Com.  We cannot make products that are the integral or intellectual property of other American Indian Tribes, but we can make anything that is Southeast Woodlands.

Anything made from a Farm or Ranch (cannot sell canned goods unless prepared in a professional kitchen setting).

Please get involved and take advantage of this wonderful news.  We were known for our copper works, our pottery, basketry, moccasins, art, ceramics, metal working, woodworking, musical instruments, and the list goes on and on.  You can even create modern items that you make such as pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, wash clothes, pants, shirts, sweaters, wool, yarn, and all types of textiles.  Be creative and have fun with this and make some money.
