The Chickamauga Nation

Charlie, Prophet and Priest of The Chickamauga Nation has his own Streamer included in our War and Battle Streamers for being a Martyr. HE was Captured for promoting our Traditional Way of life and calling the people to remember their traditions. The United States captured Charlie and turned him over to the Cherokee who in turn killed him for promoting the traditional ways of The Chickamauga Nation.

His call back to the traditions of our ancestors was the first call of our people to the Ghost Dance.

We have a number of Black Streamers which represent the Martyrs of The Chickamauga Nation.

We honor Charlie, Tsali, with his own Streamer which appears with our War and Battle Streamers when we present our Colors.
