As a licensed (1983) and ordained (1993) Southern Baptist Minister who graduated from the largest seminary in the world, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1993 with a Master of Arts in Religious Education. Almost twenty (20) years later, I graduated from Arkansas Tech University in 2011 with a Master of Arts in Teaching.
As a Southern Baptist Minister, I have studied in depth about the origins and outcome of the First and Second Great Awakening(s) in America. Now, I am currently witnessing a personal Great Awakening and am seeing a Great Awakening in the history and culture of my people, the Chickamauga, and indigenous people from the Americas. As a National Executive Chief of the West Region of The Chickamauga Nation, I am continually scouring through the National Registry of the United States to find every word ever documented by the United States about the Chickamauga.
The Great Awakening of Edwards and Whitfield became a nail in the coffin for my people, the Chickamauga. Unwittingly, the Great Awakening of the 1730s and 1740s brought with it the revolutionary spirit which brought forth the spirit of rebellion. The rebellious spirit against England produced a spiritual evil born out in the actions and behaviors of the colonists who became squatter settlers. Their rebellion against the laws of England and Treaties England made with the Powhatans eventually led to these people into direct confrontation with the Chickamauga. Their spirit of rebellion (witchcraft or divination) unleashed their depravity toward God and man, and they unleashed it on the Indigenous peoples West of the ridge of the Appellations(where they were forbidden by law to go).
Their depravity brought about the current Great Awakening of The Chickamauga Nation. Our Great Awakening has come into existence by the shedding of the innocent blood of men,women, children, and elders. Our Great Awakening has come into existence by the moving of ancient boundary markers which is an abomination to God. Our Great Awakening has come into existence through the genocide committed against our people through murder, rape, kidnapping, pillaging, destruction of crops and orchards and leaving us to die on the side of the road in a ditch. Our Great Awakening has come into existence because of the evils of rebellion of others was visited upon us. Our Great awakening has come into existence by our people studying to show themselves approved.
There is a Great Awakening happening with the Citizens of The Chickamauga Nation. The Great Awakening taking place within the Chickamauga Nation is being brought about by learning of our Academically Verified History, Culture, and Anthropology from documents supplied by the federal, state, and local governments which are documented in the National Registry. Our people are beginning to learn to separate Academically Verified facts from myths, legends, fakes, frauds, and lies espoused by “educators” who “teach” white-washed and red-washed histories in government school indoctrination centers.
Our Great Awakening based in the almost 600,000 pages of academically verified history, archaeology, and anthropology which has been cross referenced against the other to prove what is actually fact and not some made up academic fraud committed against academia for almost two (2) centuries. How do we know where to base our Great Awakening, we used the scientific method to validate myths, legends, lies, and political and economic agendas.
Now, our Great Awakening has begun. Our Great Awakening has come to bring our people together to protect our history, culture, relearn our virtually extinct language and our way of life. We are Tiscamogie, We are Chickamauga, We are Awakened, We Stand!
